Vapor Distillery is home to Boulder Spirits, a household name in the world of American Whiskey. Scotsman Alistair Brogman knows a thing or two about whiskey, and he and his team have moved into the craft American whiskey scene with their award-winning spirits. From deep, flavorful whiskey to light, tasty gin, Boulder Spirits is East Boulder’s claim to fame in the liquor-distilling world.

The tasting room is open from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Saturday and 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Sundays for private tours and tastings. You can also choose from their online store for single-bottle spirits and carry-out cocktails. Follow them on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Locust Cider Boulder

Locust Cider is not your average cidery. Founded in Washington in 2015 by brothers Jason and Patrick Spears, they respect cider tradition, but aren’t afraid to get crazy, as long as it is with real ingredients and no flavoring or artificial sweeteners. With flavors like Mojito, Peach Ginger, Honey Pear, and Dark Cherry, it won’t be hard to have you saying “Hell yeah, that’s amazing!”

Their taprooms are also their testing grounds for new and exciting cider flavors, so you never know what you’re going to get. The Boulder location even has wine cans if you’re not feeling cider.

The taproom is open Thursday and Friday 2 p.m. – 7 p.m., Saturday 12 p.m. – 7 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. You can order online for pickup and follow them on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

If your child dreams of performing under the lights of the theater, the Rocky Mountain Theater for Kids (RMTK) is the place for them. This Boulder location (they’ve recently opened a new Denver location) offers classes and year-long programs to Boulder’s youth interested in The Arts. Their summer programs allow kids the opportunity to be a part of a full-length musical production that is performed for the general public.
